Pregnancy for a Princess

The Sun Story

The Sun reported stated that her condition which is called 'hyperemesis gravidarum' that is said doctors is most common during pregnancy to twins. The Duchess who is said to be less than 12 weeks was rushed into Hospital last weekend with severe sickness. The Duke & Duchess was going to keep the pregnancy secret until Christmas Day when all the family was gathered in once place, which is understandable and would have been a great Christmas present for the entire family. But unfortunately due to Kate's Hospital dash, the pair knew that they would have to announce the pregnancy earlier than expected

News that Kate’s condition may be suggesting that she is carrying twins has gotten the bookies William Hill to cut the odds of the royal couple having two babies from 33/1 to 25/1 following a number of bets overnight. It is said that mothers-to-be who suffer from the hyperemesis gravidarum condition are THREE times more likely to be pregnant with more than one child than other women. Victoria and George have been the best backed names during the first 12 hours since the announcement was made and they are both offered at 10/1.

The Mail Story

Kate was visited by her younger siblings Pippa and James Middleton who spent just over an hour with their sister. Despite his smiles, William arrived at the London hospital amid news that two Australian radio presenters tricked the King Edward VII hospital into releasing details about Kate's health condition

In addition to the new privacy headache, the couple are facing difficult and potentially life changing decisions about their future. St James's Palace aides are understood to be 'furious' that the hospital fell for a stunt by 2Day FM presenters Mel Greig and Michael Christian. They called the hospital and pretended to be the Queen and Prince Charles and - despite atrocious accents and jokes about feeding the Corgi - duped a private nurse.

The Guardian Stroy

With a smile and a wave the Duchess of Cambridge left hospital on Thursday to the undoubted relief of her husband and also of the international news crews camped outside in the bitter cold throughout her three-night stay. She emerged from the King Edward VII private hospital in central London looking relaxed after receiving treatment for hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute form of morning sickness.

All three newspapers have done their own stories on Kate's pregnancy, i have however noticed that only two of the papers which are The Mail & The Guardian mentioned the Hospital Hoax by two Austrailians, who posed as The Queen and Prince of Wales, to try and get information of the Kate's condition. They also kept mentioning Kate's condition, a little to much. However congratulations to Duke and Duchess of Cambridge William and Kate, for the announcement of Kate's pregnancy. I know that they will make great parents to the unborn Prince/Princess. And congratulations to the Queen as well who has had a very exciting and active year, with her 60th anniversary on the throne, the Olympics and now the news of a new great grandchild.

Movie Poster & Movie Trailer Analysis

The Avengers Assemble
Poster

The intended audience for The Avengers Assemble are fans of action and superhero movies, most people would think the type of audience that would want to watch this type of movie or at least aimed at would be the male population, as the poster show masculinity, a sexy woman in a tight cat-suit and a lot of action. But that is not the case; it can be aimed at the female population as well, as the woman in the tight cat-suit (Black Widow) can stand as part of femininity, strength and fearlessness that women stand for, plus the female population would love to see Steve Rogers/Captain America, Tony Stark/Iron Man, Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Clint Barton/Hawk-eye, Thor or even Loki for that matter, as a hot sexy guy to drawl over, as would men over Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow.

The intended audience would be amused at the pure graphics of this poster, as it has so much detail to it, and can tell that from the background that there is a lot of action and, to see all these different super-heroes with different powers and comes from different places, whether it’s from different countries, different periods of time, or different planets/worlds/universes, and different backgrounds. To see all these different super-heroes, even if it doesn't involve that particular person’s favourite super-hero, coming together not along as soldiers to save the world and to work as a small army, but to work and get a long as friends, which would make a very intriguing film.

The type of audience that would generally be interested in this film I would say at least 70% male, as the remaining 30% female. The reason I say 70% male, is because with these type of films, you get more male super-heroes, making men feel more dominate over women and make men think that they are the better super-heroes and that women are nothing but silly little side-kicks.

The style of it is certainly different to all the overs that I personally have seen, and has a lot more graphics than other posters, the detail to it makes it all stand out and to grab hold of people’s attention, I have to admit that it’s a really good design and the way they have laid it out, with the battle ground of New York, with the creatures of another world over-head, bombs/missiles smashing in to various buildings in New York, with The Avengers together, it starts off with The Hulk on a turn up car, Nick Fury walking through the rubble and Captain America standing tall on a big chunk of rubble, all three are stood at the back of The Avengers, Hawk-eye and Black Widow are stood in between the rubble just in front of the previous three, then finally Iron Man and Thor at the front of The Avengers with a long line of rubble in front of them, all of them are stood there ready for another wave of other worldly creatures and powering up with someone/something as a target, personally to me it is different, unique and the only one of its kind that I've ever come across that’s like that and with so much detail and graphics, as a fan of super-hero movies myself it’s certainly grabbed my attention.

The Avengers Assemble
Trailer

The intended audience for this trailer is mainly the male population, as it gives off the impression of masculinity, strength, courage, as well as involving war, chaos and destruction, which are a few qualities that are male based and what men look for in a film. But with Black Widow in the mix, it helps bring in femininity, sexuality, flexibility and cunning, the film also consists of a few witty/sarcastic one-liners, which you get to hear one or two within the trailer, it's something you don't often hear within super-hero movie. You may think where this is super-hero movie is concerned, the intended audience is the male population, which most people would think so, there are women out there that are into super-hero movies as well
All super-heroes fans would find the trailer to The Avengers Assemble, extremely interesting, exciting and incredible. Leaving both men and women going wow, because the pure graphics and detail are magnificent, and to see half a dozen super-heroes come together, to work together and to have a unique bond between them.

It gives the audience the feeling that anyone can be a super-hero, as not every super-hero has super-powers, though I wouldn't recommend recklessly becoming a super-hero, just because some non-super powered, super-heroes make it seem easy. Though the film trailer may make them consider joining the navy or army, because it might make them feel that being in the army or navy etc. will make them feel like super-heroes

Jimmy Savile Story

The Sun paper published on the 5th November that Jimmy Savile's multi-million pound estate and the hospital is being sued by the Stoke Mandeville victim, claiming damages over the alleged attack in 1986. it is said that he was allowed to wander Stoke Mandeville at will, due to raising huge amounts of money for the hospital.
They also ran the story of Jimmy Savile possibly having a secret son, 52 year old builder Craig Bivens, who revealed his nightmare and said that "I don't want to be the son of a kiddie fiddler. His mother and ex-model and singer Liz said that she doesn't want Savile to be his dad and that there is a very good chance that he is. She also said that she was 18 when she met him at a dance hall in Leeds, back in 1960. She believes that she was 'talent spotted' by Savile's bouncer.

The Mail paper published on the 24th November had run the same news story as the Sun featuring the Stoke Mandeville story, but unlike The Sun paper, The Mail have stated 'victims' and that detectives were investigating three doctors accused of molesting children and that one of the women, who wanted to remain un-named, was convinced that one of the doctors was part of a 'sex abuse ring'. They also stated that Savile was given easy access to his victims at children's homes and NHS hospitals, as well as at the BBC. There are also accusations that Savile had at least one accomplice within the BBC and at Top Of The Pops, he allegedly ran a 'gang of four'.

The Telegraph ran the story of former policeman Mark Williams-Thomas, who helped expose the late Jimmy Savile as a paedophile and that Jimmy Savile engineered his hit televisions to gain access to children. His hit shows including Top Of The Pops and Jim'll Fix It, was aimed at providing access to carry out sex attacks. Mr Williams-Thomas is said to be working on a documentary programme ITV1 about Savile's abuse. The new film is said to be in full context ranging from Luxembourg from the 1950's. Mr William's-Thomas is said to have spoken to more than 35 of Savile's victims. The paper has also stated that Savile deliberately set up his shows. Mr Williams-Thomas soon realized how wide 'ramifications' of his documentary was, when Savile's family removed the late Savile's headstone, leading to lawyers being involved.

Each paper says something different, The Telegraph states that Savile's victims don't want a penny of Savile's money, that they just want the truth, where in The Sun for example would say something different and say that they want as much money as they can get. I know the family don't want to be embarrassed or be distressed or suffer grief any more, which is understandable but the people, specially woman and children need to know and be aware of this sort of thing.
